Extended Health Benefits

Acucure Clinic accepts most insurance plans. Your coverage for acupuncture is determined by your individual plan and insurer, so please review your benefits booklet or contact your insurance provider to clarify the following:

What treatments are covered
Whether you need a referral from a primary care doctor
Whether the insurer needs confirmation of the referral
How many visits are covered in a year
Whether there are any dollar limits in place

ICBC & Direct Billing

Acucure Clinic provides Direct Billing for ICBC and most Insurance Plan. For ICBC Direct Billing you must provide your Claim Number. Contact Us at (778) 200-7543 if you have any questions.

BC Medical Service Plan

For Medical Services Plan of BC (MSP) beneficiaries receiving premium assistance, MSP covers $23 per visit for a combined annual total of 10 visits each calendar year for the following treatments:

Acupuncture
Massage therapy
Naturopathy
Chiropractic
Physical therapy
Non-surgical podiatry

If you are uncertain about your eligibility for coverage, Acucure Clinic can confirm and advise you how many treatments you have remaining. Please bring your care card or personal health number with you to your initial appointment. We bill MSP directly for the $23.00 and you are responsible for the balance of your treatment fees. If you have additional questions about insurance plans that we accept, please contact Acucure Clinic at (778) 200-7543.

After an unfortunate rear end collision whilst stationary, I had severe ongoing pain and swelling in all my back, neck and left shoulder.My initial consultation with Rozhan we discussed the incident and the areas of muscle damage and pain. She took her time in assessing where she could see issues. With previous road traffic collisions in my past and damage to my shoulder Rozhan noticed she adjusted the treatment to suit.After my first handful of sessions I noted the pain and muscle swelling had reduced significantly! Both the cupping and the acupuncture have different effects on the muscles and pain so I advise both if required.Rozhan has a great understanding of chinese medicine and the human anatomy, and this is obvious with the stress and pain relief I have felt since starting our sessions. It was my first time visiting Dr Rozhan @acucure north Vancouver @ 974 marine Dr . I had OLD shoulder neck and back pain very bad . By far the best Acupuncturist in town!!!My consultation with Rozhan was great as she had a clear undrestanding of my problems. Iv had acupunture at a few places before and I am so glad that I have finally found someone that knows what they're doing. I have been dealing with severe back pain and insomnia after having my baby and only after a few sessions of cupping and acupunture my pain has decreased drastically and I have been sleeping very well. I had such a wonderful experience at Acucure in North Vancouver. I had the best cupping and chinese massage treatment with Rozhan. After my treatment i was very calm and pain free. Rozhan is such a caring person and she is also very gentle while doing a treatment on you. She is very knowledgeable and amazing at what she is doing. Also Acucure is very clean and organized. I had a lovely experience at acucure, prior to my visit I was slightly nervous but Rozhan was wonderful to walk me through everything and explain every sensation I would experience in advance so that there would be no surprises .
